Bio
I am the son of Nobuyoshi and Satomi Higashi. I was born and raised on the mat. My father is an alumni of the prestigious Kokushikan University Judo team. With his love and guidance, I developed a true love for my Sport of Judo just as he did. My lifelong commitment to the Olympic pursuit is wonderful yet arduous and I love Every moment that passes. With a career record of over 200 wins in Judo and over 15o in Collegiate wrestling, my backbone in grappling is undeniable. I am 24 years old and the window of oppurtunity to achieve my Olympic Goals are Now until 35. I will do all that I can to ensure I will not regret my Living.
My past acheivements include: 3x Junior National Champion, High School Natioanl Champion, 2x World Team Alternate, 2008 Beijing Olympic Trials Qualifier, 2007 National Champion, 2x Fall Classic Champion and a bronze medal finish at the US Open.
